Your Name (A Japanese animated film)

"Your Name" is a Japanese animated romantic fantasy drama film released in 2016 and directed by Makoto Shinkai.
It is the best favorite movie that I have ever watched.
I was impressed to watch the movie and shaded tears.
The sceneries of the movie are beautiful and fascinating.
The director of drawing was Masaji Ando, who worked on many Studio Ghibli works such as 2001's "Spirited Away".

Story summary:

The stage is set in Japan, where the comet approached for the first time in a thousand years, a month later.
Mitsuha, a high school girl who lives in a rural town in Hida, was disgusted with her father's election activities and old customs of her ancestors. The next morning after the festival stage, Mitsuha wakes up as Taki, who is a high school boy living in Tokyo.
Mitsuha enjoys Tokyo as a fun dream at first. However, from the repeated phenomenon, it is noticed that each other's bodies switch. Two people are confused, so they exchange  notes not to break their lives. Soon, Taki wants to meet Mitsuha and visits Itomori town in Hida, where Mitsuha lives, but there is an incredible scene.

Many locations in Your Name are based on real-life locations.

Suga Shrine at Shinjuku, Tokyo

Yotsuya Station

After watching the movie, I got a tattoo of "Your Name" in my favorite scene.

Enjoy!!

  3. Hi Naoki, I remember watching this movie when it first came out! The graphics were beautiful and the music was amazing. Everytime I go Karaoke I would sing their main song over and over and eve download it on my itunes. There's also a new movie that came out with the same artist and producer called "Tenki No Ko" "Weathering with you" which is a great movie too. Your tattoo is really nice. Thank you so much for sharing.
